The Harrismith Structural Development project was undertaken as a community upliftment initiative in the Free State. The objective was to replace unsafe living conditions with a structurally sound, compliant, and durable residential unit for a family in need.
The existing dwelling was structurally compromised and posed significant safety risks. The project required careful demolition assessment, responsible rebuilding, and efficient resource allocation to ensure long-term structural integrity.
PMGS implemented structured construction planning, quality-controlled material sourcing, and supervised on-site execution to ensure that the replacement unit met safety standards while remaining cost-efficient within the donation framework.
This initiative reflects PMGS’ commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable community development. The completed structure now provides safe, stable, and dignified living conditions for the family, reinforcing PMGS’ role as a responsible infrastructure partner in Southern Africa.
The project successfully transitioned the family from unsafe housing conditions into a secure residential environment, demonstrating PMGS’ ability to deliver both large-scale developments and community-driven infrastructure projects.
